Pertubuhan Naratif Malaysia (NARATIF) as a New Platform for Erudition and Activism.
The lives of Malaysian and global societies are prominently affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Enforcement of limitations created obvious struggle to adapt and adopt to new norms. Malaysians are faced with new narratives that are not only challenging but necessary in order to acclimate to the new ways of life.
With this as frontier, Pertubuhan Naratif Malaysia (NARATIF) was officially established on the 29th of March 2021 after the approval from Registrar of Society (ROS). NARATIF’s three main objectives (encompassing strategic for immediate, near and long term actions) are:
- To create academic activities such as group discussion, workshop, conference and writing focusing on the development of Malaysian society.
- To commiserate social issues relating to social development through research, publication as well as knowledge transfer.
- To work closely with government and government agencies by contributing policy input/ basic input relating to the development of Malaysia.
NARATIF is confident that the organisation will be a valuable contributor for the development of Malaysian society. Centred by realistic transformation, NARATIF believes that society needs erudition and erudition must serve society.
